The title holder at the end of the 2021 RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series season will walk away with a handsome $5,000 payday, the largest in the history of the series. In addition, series officials have set the points breakdown for the four premier events of the year.
As previously announced, the 2021 points hunt for the RepairableVehicles.com Tri-State Late Model Series will showcase each drivers “great 18” – counting each drivers top 18 nights of action to their points tally.
The series will also have 4 premier events on the year including the following:
- May 31 at Huset’s Speedway (Ben Nothdurft Memorial Race)
- July 9 at Jackson Motorplex (supporting World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models)
- July 10 at Jackson Motorplex (supporting World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Models)
- September 14 at Clay County Fair Speedway
At these events, drivers will race for increased points. Each position will be increased by 75 points – meaning the event is worth 225 points to win, compared to 150 points at each traditional show. Finishing in position 24 typically awards 86 points, but will garner a driver 161 points at the premier events.
Because of the late points restructure, drivers will be allowed one points provisional across the four premier events. Drivers utilizing a points provision must contact the series director for specific details and limitations. Details of provisional use are available at www.tristatelatemodels.com under the membership section.
The entire points payout for the top ten is being finalized and will soon be published to www.tristatelatemodels.com .
